KEEPING THE HISTORY OF DUNAGHY ALIVE
Dunaghy is a townland located 2 miles east of Ballymoney on the Kilraughts Road.
The community hubs of the townland are, Landhead Primary School where most children of the community and surrounding area received their education, the Independent Orange Hall (opened in 1911) and the Wee Hall, the Old Order Orange Hall (opened Easter Monday 1903).
Both Orange Halls were the venues for dances, soirees, guest teas and farewell parties for those who left to start a new life (mainly in North America).
